Basketball
Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players each. It is the most popular team sport in the world and is played by millions of people. This game is one of the three major sports that are an integral part of the Olympic Games. ; the other two are athletics and soccer. It is played on a field measuring 25 feet by 15 feet, with a net running the length of it, and has eight players per team playing on opposite sides. The object of the game is to score points by throwing the ball into three racks containing number balls numbered 1 through 8. Each frame has a different color. A point is scored when the ball is in one of the racks. The game lasts between 30 and 40 minutes depending on the venue.
The game’s designers showed a great understanding of aesthetics, adding basketball courts that were both large and inviting. The court was concrete which gave a cool, natural feel but still had a very sporty feel. The game boards were made of wood and very well balanced. This helped make the game more interesting and added strategy to some of the games in the series that were already established in previous games like Battleships. Overall, the game was very exciting and well thought out. The variety of games combined with a variety of ways to interact with your opponent made for some great times. 2 player games are sometimes difficult to play but this one was easy to learn and enjoy. It’s not quite as good as the original Battleship though, so I’d recommend this game to anyone who enjoys strategy games like Dune and Rolling Thunder. A good all round game that is fun and teaches strategic thinking.
