Tokyo is the largest and 7th largest metropolitan area in the world, but it is a vastly underrated city. One of the most popular attractions for discovering moving scenes along streams, Tokyo Rainforest Park has attracted great attention from both tourists and action movie stars.
Tokyo is a metropolis and the largest city in Japan. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and today its metropolitan area has grown to become the seventh largest urban area in the world with over 22 million people. One of our favorite attractions with moving scenes along the waterway, Tokyo Rainforest Park is located in central Tokyo. The park was designed by Japanese architect K isho Kurokawa and is the first of its kind in Japan. We were a little surprised at how much the Tokyo area has changed since we last visited here in 2010, but it’s still a beautiful place with friendly staff and plenty of amenities to keep us busy. .Kurokawa’s project is a fine example of fantastic architecture, design and execution. It is very large in scale, but the park is not overly large at all.
